An independent fan tool
MW4 TacMap is an independent fan-made field guide. It is not affiliated with Activision, Infinity Ward or any official game service. We do not invent an author identity, claim official status, or claim to have played the game to validate this dataset.
The site provides quick code lookup, an original coordinate schematic and a local collection log for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Original code-drawn brand assets and map graphics are used throughout. No competitor's map, UI or game artwork is reproduced.
How to read the evidence labels
- Source matched: multiple published sources agree on the relevant record. This is source corroboration, not independent gameplay proof; sources can share errors.
- Single source: only one located publication supports the entry.
- Disputed: published accounts conflict. Unresolved positions have no precise map pin.
Known gaps, reviewed October 20, 2026
- Eight code strings agree across the supplied code guides. The Cliff container's 0600 location is reported as both 646,149 and 646,158; its pin is withheld.
- Most guides list 26 yellow crates; another published guide lists 25. Our checklist contains 26 reported entries and does not guarantee an achievement unlock.
- There are 58 named note records. One published list names only 57 despite its headline; a separate guide supplies the additional Jamming Station Helipad Note. That entry is marked single source.
- South East Village Keypad Note and Discipline have conflicting coordinates. Moving-train records and crate-milestone rewards have no fixed pins.
- Sources disagree about the equipment-inventory reward threshold and whether notes outside Stranded count toward Noteworthy. The reported achievement wording is “Read 50 different Notes”; collecting 50 within Stranded avoids relying on the broader interpretation.
- The map has 81 published fixed-coordinate records. It is a schematic without calibrated terrain, traversable routes or independently measured distances.
- Loot can vary. Specific weapon rewards are not promised.
Official game resources
Only official game and publisher links are published here. The independent guides behind the location dataset are recorded in private maintenance notes. Their absence from this page does not make the dataset official or independently tested.
Corrections
Include the item name, game version, platform and supporting evidence when reporting a correction. A guide's own “verified” label is not treated as proof that this site performed a gameplay test. Private maintenance records retain the research register and unresolved-data notes.
