Who this policy covers
This policy describes MW4 TacMap at mw4tacmap.com, an independent fan guide. The site has no login, account profile, payment service or application database. It is not an Activision or Infinity Ward service. Use the contact page for the current contact-channel status.
Your collection log
The website saves completed location IDs in your browser's localStorage under mw4-tacmap:progress:v1. This contains a format version and completed item IDs. The site does not send your checklist or a game-account identifier to a server. Progress is specific to this browser and device, and can disappear when site data is cleared or private browsing ends. Storage errors display a warning.
Use “Reset progress” and confirm to clear the checklist, or clear this domain's browser data. Website checkmarks do not change the game's save or unlock achievements.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is used only after you choose Allow analytics. Before that choice, or if you decline, this site does not load Google's analytics tag or send analytics events, including consent pings. Declining does not restrict the code lookup, map or collection tools.
If allowed, analytics measures a page visit and a limited set of tool actions: successful code copy, map-location selection, checklist changes, type/status filter changes and progress reset. Action parameters are fixed categories such as item type and completion state. We do not send search text, individual checklist records, game codes, email addresses or game-account identifiers as event parameters. Page URLs and referrers are stripped of query strings and fragments before measurement.
Google can process browser/device information, network information such as the IP address used for delivery, approximate location, and cookie-based browser/session identifiers under its policies. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled in this implementation. Automatic enhanced-measurement events are disabled; a page load sends one explicit page-view event after consent. Selecting a map marker or changing its URL fragment does not create another page view.
Your choice is stored for up to 180 days in mw4-tacmap:analytics-consent:v1. Allowed analytics can set first-party _ga cookies for up to 180 days. If choice storage is unavailable, permission is not assumed on a future page. Analytics may also be blocked by your browser or network.
You can decline later using this button or the footer's Analytics choices control. Withdrawal disables future analytics events from this page and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies on this domain. It cannot recall information already delivered to Google. Clearing site data removes the saved choice. See Google's explanation of data from sites using its services and Google's privacy policy.
Optional official video
The walkthrough offers an official Call of Duty trailer through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. No YouTube player, thumbnail or network request loads before you select “Load official trailer.” Selecting that button contacts YouTube and its media services, which can process device and network data under Google's privacy policy. Privacy-enhanced mode is not a promise of zero data processing. You can remove the player or use its direct official-video link. This choice is separate from analytics consent.
The explanatory diagrams are original site assets served from this domain. They are labeled schematics and do not claim to be gameplay screenshots or calibrated game maps.
Hosting, clipboard and contact
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may process IP addresses, request details and operational security data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Cloudflare's optional RUM analytics is disabled for this domain. No advertising scripts or external web fonts are used.
Clipboard write access is requested when you press a copy control; the site does not read your clipboard. Source and service links open their owners' websites, where their policies apply. There is no embedded contact form. The domain contact address is handled through Zoho Mail. If you email it, your sender address, message and any attachments are processed to receive and respond to the request, separately from the checklist and analytics. Do not send passwords or private game-account data. See Zoho's privacy policy. The contact page states the current delivery-test status.
Changes and questions
This page is updated when the site's actual storage, analytics or media behavior changes. It does not describe another website's practices. See the website terms for the fan guide's information and copyright boundaries.
